How to start to play golf – golf tips for golf beginners

About

Charlie Wallace is a former lecturer and trainer and now works as a consultant and internet marketer. He has been playing golf for over 6 years and is, like most golfers, addicted. His addiction includes playing, practising, watching, discussing, reading about and most things golf related.

The purpose of the blog is to encourage and inform people how to start playing golf. Playing golf is a rich experience that people of all ages and backgrounds can enjoy – it would be a shame not to be part of it.

People play golf  for all sorts of reasons: health, fresh air and exercise, outings with friends, improving as players.

The rules and etiquette of golf creates a sense of fairness and honesty and the rigours and frustrations of trying to perfect a game that’s almost impossible to do (except for the very best) develops discipline and personal awareness (providing you’re open to it).

The most difficult thing for many of us is making a start doing anything new. Once we have started, the rest is usually relatively easy – not without problems – but relatively easy nonetheless and new opportunities open up.

Start to play golf now. It’ll  probably be one of the best things you have ever done.
